1. The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care for above puppy/dog. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free, up-to-date on vaccinations and providing proper nutrition consisting of a good quality food at regular intervals and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer agrees to provide a safe environment for the puppy/dog and never allow the puppy/dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. The Seller strongly recommends the puppy/dog be microchipped at an appropriate age in order to facilitate his/her return if lost or stolen. Seller recommends training classes for this puppy/dog in order to establish a healthy and happy relationship between dog and family.

2. Seller states this puppy/dog to be found in good health and temperament at time of sale. Seller will provide the buyer with the health record of all vaccines and deworming. Seller provides warranty against debilitating congenital defects for a period of (1) year after the date of the sale. Debilitating congenital defects are defined as those present since birth that are either life threatening or would prevent the puppy from fulfilling the intended purpose for which it was purchased. Any suspected debilitating congenital defect must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian (including necropsy if the dog dies). This health guarantee does not include communicable diseases (parvo, distemper, internal parasites, external parasites, kennel cough, giardia or coccidia).

3. Buyer agrees to take this puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian for a physical examination within three business days of taking possession. If the puppy is found to be in poor health, the Buyer has the option of returning the puppy to the Seller, at the Buyer’s cost, for a full refund. The Buyer will provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian clearly stating the defect or illness. If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within three business days of taking possession, the health warranty is void. Please ensure that the puppy is kept in a kennel or held in the waiting room of a veterinary office, and that the exam room is properly disinfected before the appointment. Do not let the puppy walk on the floor in the veterinary office and ensure the room was cleaned prior to putting your puppy on the table.

4. If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this puppy/dog, the Seller is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of this puppy/dog in order that the Seller may secure an appropriate new home. This puppy/dog will be returned to the Seller with all medical records. Buyer agrees the puppy/dog shall not be transferred to a third party. Nor will this puppy/dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet store, research laboratory animal shelter or similar facility.

5. Spaying/neutering/gonad sparing surgery (GSS) by a licensed, reputable veterinarian is required on the above puppy between 7-12 months of age. Proof of this, in the form of a Certificate of Spay/Neuter from the Veterinarian, must be forwarded to the Seller by the time the puppy reaches 12 months of age. It is understood that at the time of sale that the puppy is not to be used for breeding. It is a representation of its breed and it is structurally and temperamentally suited for a companion and / or working dog. It is being sold as a pet without breeding rights.
